The Ignis is the next launch of Maruti Suzuki and enters the super compact SUV segment to compete with  the newly launched Mahindra KUV 100. The Ignis will be the premium product of the Indian car maker  so that it will be sold through the Nexa dealerships like the Baleno premium hatchback and S-Cross.The new car will be introduced in petrol and diesel versions and reasonably priced across the Nexa outlets.The company will bring the all-new Ignis in the festival season, may be launched in September 2016.


Volkswagen Ameo:

The German carmaker’s next launch in India is VW Ameo, which is the new compact sedan specially designed and developed for the Indian market. Previously, the company decided to launch the list of VW cars and the Ameo is one of the models, designed based on the Polo platform. The new sedan will be available in two engine configurations, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel and priced between the cost of Polo hatchback and Vento sedan.

Volkswagen Tiguan:

Volkswagen Tiguan will be the five-seater SUV, which is likely to enter the car market in early 2017 in India. The prototype model has been disclosed at the VW dealership yard in Bangalore but, it takes the time to launch. Based on MQB platform, the Tiguan is to be designed to increase its performance by the light weight structure. The 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine powers the Tiguan and mated with the 7-speed DSG (automatic) and 6-speed MT gearboxes.



Mahindra XUV 500 Hybrid:


Mahindra is concentrating on the introduction of hybrid and electric vehicles, the XUV 500 hybrid will be the first hybrid vehicle from Mahindra. It is expected to be introduced with the electric motor and smaller diesel engine that is connected to the automatic gearbox. The Indian SUV maker has been already launched the fully electric vehicle, Mahindra e2o, and now, it is developing the hybrid vehicle, which will get the subsidy from the government. The Mahindra XUV500. hybrid will be launched in the last months of this year.


Audi A5 Sportback:


From the last few years, the Audi A5 Sportback is the best-selling car in the European market and now, its upgraded version is ready to launch in the country. The A4 saden will come with the five-seater option and share the platform with the Audi A4 sedan. It will be available with the pack of the four-cylinder 2.0-litre TDI engine, Quattro all-wheel drive system and 7-speed S-tronic gearbox. The engine is rated at 188bhp power and supporting the vehicle to sprint from 0 to 100kmph in 7.4 seconds.

Expected Price: INR 55 Lakhs (On-Road)

Hyundai Verna 2017:



Showcased at the ongoing China Show 2016, the Hyundai Verna 2017 will get the latest sporty chassis and good driving dynamics. It receives the several features from the Elantra and new design, which will suit to the domestic customer’s requirements. The next-generation Verna gets the large front grille, sharp fog lamps and daytime running LEDs, which improve the appearance and style of the car than the existed one.


Honda City Facelift:


The facelift of Honda City, codenamed as 2GC, will be more stylish and sportier than the existed model and added the new features, compromising the new front grille and some more, to compete with the upcoming 2017 Hyundai Verna. In fact, the Honda City is the one of the best-selling sedans in India and the facelift will increase its responsiveness in the sedan segment.


Toyota Innova Cross:


Toyota Innova is the discontinued model in India and the Japanese company is now readying the Innova Cross to re-introduce with the more design updates. The upcoming car will be suited for the customers, who can’t afford the Toyota Innova Crysta and introduced by the end of this year.
